Equus participated in Gypsy of the Year 2008, where cast members from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows compete in a variety show to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. Equus performed a skit called "The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Neigh," which was basically a send-up of Equus, and contained, among other things, Dan singing the main song (which he wrote) and dancing with the horses. 

I could only watch this video once as it totally creeps me out, but enjoy nevertheless.
  

Dan also went to see Spring Awakening and Arias with a Twist. Here are some pics from each. I don't like his getup for either show and the one man scare me....

 So alot has happened since my last update. All the Potter kids have been quite busy and HBP promo has started going on more. So I'll try to stuff in everything here, and if I feel it's too long, I'll make another post.

The theatrical for the Tale of Despereaux has also come out. The world premiere is tomorrow and I'll make a separate post for that.

Evanna went to the Beedle the Bard reading, which was released this week

 Phew! I had to wait until all the events stopped until I could post again, and just as I was about to last night - something else came out. When is this all gonna stop?!?! Though I must admit, I like it. I like how everyone is a bit more of a celebrity now. Well maybe not everyone, but I think Emma is the most celebrity as she seems to be promoting herself everywhere now for some reason. I understand HBP was pushed back and luckily she has the Tale of Despereaux in December, but I don't think animated movies get its star's promotion quite heavily like this. I don't know. It just seems weird. It seems she wants to be more noticed as a fashionista; one of the new "it" girl; she seems more of a ceebrity now than an actress. I get she's putting school above acting, bravo to her, but she hasn't done anything about her career during the large break between  HBP filming and DH (unless RADA counts as trying to improve her art), while mostly everyone else in the cast has taken on another project at least. If she's really doing Napoleon & Betsey or not, I think she should confirm/debunk the rumors by now as I think another film would certainly help get her more experience. Anyway, at least it's fun seeing everyone out and about more and I'm enjoying it either way. /rant

Tom Felton has taken part in Jack Osbourne: Celebrity Adrenaline Junkie, where he went to South Africa and bungee jumped from a 700ft tall bridge, Swam with a 20ft long great white shark, attempted to race an ostrich, flew a stunt glider, and skydived from a military helicopter. I think I'd be too scared to try those things. I applaud him for trying all of these.

To raise money for the Prince's Trust (a charity which aids young people) Status Quo, who're also celebrating the anniversary of their first hit single, 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men', are hosting a charity auction next month featuring art by Bonnie Wright. The auction, which will take place on November 5th at 6pm at Bonhams, will coincide with their album launch. 50 celebrities, ranging from musicians to stars, have come up with their own designs for single and album covers, which will be auctioned off in aid of the charity. Bonnie's contribution is entitled 'Time'. I quite like her cover. It is very simple, yet elegant and could be interpreted in so many ways: mountains, timeline, music ect.

So Dan had a spread again in Details mag. He tries to mirror Bowie and admits to losing his virginity on his 16th birthday to an older women (many assume to be that hairdresser he was rumored to be dating) and he wants to play a drag queen so he can wear makeup. I really don't think it was a good idea to admit the first thing because he still is so young and it's something private for him and no one likes someone who "kisses and tells". It's like he's almost bragging about it, but why should he? 16 year olds are a hot mess and it probably lasted like 5 seconds. Why would a grown woman want to fuck a 16 year old? He also keep going on about how he isn't like the stars of Young Hollywood today, but I think he's more like them than he thinks. Anyway, here is the spread which I think is really creepy/kinds gross, pretty much of what I thought of last years too

Tom Felton took part in Soccer Aid 2008 for Unicef. He played on England's team and I think that they won their game. You can watch some videos on the Feltbeats website.
      

Katie Leung is featured in You Magazine on being an up-and-coming star. She said her next major project is finding a boyfriend. I must say, I love her whole outfit.

Speaking of yumminess, Rupert has recently signed on and started filming a new movie called Wild Target. The film also stars Billy Nighy and Emily Blunt. Bill Nighy's renowned hitman, Victor Maynard, finds himself reluctantly saddled with two sidekicks – Emily Blunt, as a target he didn’t have the heart to kill, and Rupert Grint as a young man who chooses Victor as his mentor, in the mistaken belief that he’s a private detective.
And, as if that wasn’t enough to contend with, there’s the small matter of Nighy's domineering mother (Eileen Atkins)… oh, and Rupert Everett is also running around as the client who wanted Blunt dead, and now wants to kill Victor as punishment for letting her live. Behind the scenes photos of Rupert in the movie has been released today and he looks delicious. He looks so much of a man now and I'm about to drool all over the place.
          

Emma attended the National Movie Awards 2 weeks ago. She presented the award for Best Family Movie. While presenting, the back of her dress came undone and people tried to fix it but she decided to go through with it anyway, so good for her.

I must say I really liked this dress and she looked really beautiful. I just wish that she would wear some colour for once. This past year has just been black or white and it's kinda getting annoyed. Red would look fantastic against her skin. Anyway, afterwards she ditched the afterparty and went clubbing with friends at the Mahiki Nightclub and she changed out of her broken grown and into something scruffy including the most hideous mocassins I've ever seen.
     

Emma is also featured in a spread in Oct.'s Harper's Bazaar. I'm guessing she did it originally for HBP promo, before the push-back, so now she's just has a random spread in there. I wander what's going to happen in June/July magazines then.. Anyway, in this spread, she wears the most beautiful dresses but fails to deliver modelling-wise. She looks so awkward and blank in most of them. It's kinda disappointing and wtf is up with the one where she floating in midair? 
      

Last week, Bonnie & Evanna were at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards and presented an award to William Moseley, for Favourite Film Star. Rumor has it that Bonnie called him "gorgeous" and that she tripped in her too-large-shoes and he caught her. Also a huge rumor came out that Bonnie was interested to play Gemma Doyle in A Great & Terrible Beauty, which would have been awesome. This news spread across the internet like wildfire and alot of buzz came up again for this movie. I have read the books and I can totally see her doing it. Anyway, it was really fun speculating, but it was later confirmed false from Bonnie's publicist saying she's not "currently" attached, but enjoys the books. She may not be right now, but hopefully she will be later. Anyway, Bonnie looked super gorgeous at the show, with cute dress and newly dyed hair and all, and I'm still on the fence about Evanna's outfit. 

By far this is her best photoshoot. She looks so gorgeous. She wears Haute Couture from every big fashion label imaginable: Valentino, Atelier Versace, Chanel, Armani Prive, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Christian Lacroix.

So the thing is. HBP has been pushed back to July 2009 cause the WB thinks they'd get more money that way, plus the writer's strike probably affected their big blockbuster for summer 2009, so they need something to ensure them the money, so HBP it is, even though they just released the teaser, international release days, and that the Royal were coming to the London premiere. Craziness. I kinda think they fucked up the movie and now they need more time to fix it. Anyway, they have released to images to "satisfy" us for now, but it's kinda like putting salt in the wound.

Some behind the scenes footage of Cherry Bomb has come out. A spoiler has been revealed that Rupert will have a sex scene and the girl apparently says "Don't come inside me".... It comes out in January :)


Emma went to the Carter International Polo Day.



I think she looks great, but needs a more coral-based lipstick. Apparently she went with her classmates from RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). Emma confirmed on her official site that she did take a summer course there and will be appearing in the next issue of Italian Vogue, wearing Haute Couture. Here is her RADA class photo.
